The Luxury of Time.

I normally try to wake up as early as possible. Selesai tanggungjawab sebagai hamba Allah, then by 8 am,  I will be sitting at my desk, with a mug of coffee to start my day.

I am a morning person, therefore most times, kalau dah ada appointments for that day, by 8.30 am, all my documents (clients report, forms etc) dah ready. Baju and tudung semua dah siap bergosok.

Jenguk ke bawah, jalan depan rumah still jam. Takpe.... I memang  set my appointment at 10 am to avoid the traffic congestion.  Before keluar rumah, Insyaallah, I will solat sunat dhuha and recite at least one page of quran.

Then off to my appointments.  Normally I will plan my appointments according to location. Kalau kat area KL, then the whole day I will be in KL. Kalau kat area PJ, then the whole day will be PJ/Bangsar/Subang etc. Lagi best if, my appointments tu, dlm satu building and 3,4 clients sekali terus I jumpa.

Lunch time, kalau bukan dgn client,  I  lunch seorang diri, sebabnya, bila lunch alone, I makan cepat sikit and lepas tu pergi solat zohor.  Kalau ada kawan, memang best but maybe lama la sikit lunch hournya sbb banyak cerita.

My after lunch appointment will be at 2.30 pm, and the last one will end around 5 pm. Then terus balik  rumah sbb I memang malas nak mengharungi traffic jam.

But of course, bukan semua hari is the same. Ada masa-masa yg I tak ada appointments. So what I do is,  cari leads, buat calls, follow up with clients yg dah lama or susah nk jumpa. Well, I am a woman and it  goes without saying that, we are governed by our hormones. What I do is, I layankan jugak my mood tu TETAPI, untuk sehari sahaja. The next day kena start balik semangat bekerja.

You see, I love being a Unit Trust Consultant because I have the luxury to design my own work time.  Of course, self discipline plays a BIG role here.

My dear readers, if you want to have the luxury of time that I have, have a chat with me. Call me at 012 6923244 and my name is Noni.

Revisiting Your Goals

Salam my dear readers..

Last 2 weeks I was the trainer for our weekly Agency training.  The topic that we chose was, Revisiting Goals.  Normally early of the year, we all would have resolutions and goals to achieve for the year. But along the way mesti ada yang terlupa, tertinggal and maybe hilang semangat terus.

Being sales person, to stay motivated is something that we all must. must conquer. Sit and think what is the barrier that holds us from achieving what we want. Then we have to take action to overcome those barriers.

In this career, you are not alone unless you choose to be. We have all the positive people around to keep us up and about. The task is to choose the right people to mingle with.

I am very lucky because I have the Agency and the Company  to help me go through my bad times.  For every obstacles that we face, there will be others who have gone through the same path and some emerged with victory at the end. The key is to find the positive path and pattern to follow.

Tak susah mana pun sebenarnya untuk menjadi sales person.  Be teachable. And before you know it you can achieve the dreams that you want via this career.

How? come and join me...I will show you the way.

Call me, Nor Bayani @ Noni at 012 6923244. I am looking for people who have the passion to become successful to be my associates.

Weekly Training Updates

Assalamulaikum my dear readers.

For the past 2 weeks we touched more about recruitment and expanding on the group.  Some of us have started the activities of "face to face" or FTF, which means, exchanging cards with the public, and making appointments for presentation later.

This FTF activity is done for getting sales too. When I first started this career, this is one activity that I did to get clients. Memang pada mulamya malu but after awhile, cam best jugak tegur orang yang kita tak kenal. Janganlah takut kena marah or anything like. Rakyat malaysia ni semuanya baik-baik belaka. If they don't want to exchange card with you, all they say is. "takpe, saya dah ada" or angkat tangan and say takpe. Tak pernah lagi lah I dengar my friends kena maki hamun or kena sepak.
( hehehhehe...I am being dramatic here).

Tegur, tukar kad or ask for prospect phone numbers.

This month, our GAM Rohani Abd Aziz, conduct trainings for part timers on saturdays.  The turn up was good. Salah satu perkara yang perlu untuk jadi sales person kena la rajin datang training. Sebabnya kalau kita tak datang training and cari ilmu, kita akan lemau and hilang semangat untuk berjaya. Especially so for those people who are still working and still ada income from their 9 to  5 job.

I respect to those ladies yang sanggup bawak anak sebab nak cari ilmu, Now thats's commitment.  I wish them all the best in this career.

Saturday class for the part timers. See that lady yang bawak baby tu. Salute pada kesungguhan dia.

Come, join me and become a Unit Trust Consultant. This is not just an alternative to find a part time income but it could also be a dream career.

Extra income for investment.

Assalamualaikum my dear readers.  Macam mana puasa so far? Productive..no ? Yes?

I have been a Unit Trust Consultant for 7 years now. Through out these years, I have met many, many people. My investors kebanyakannya baik-baik belaka. Alhamdulilah for that. Memang selalu I doa dapat client yang best-best. :)

One of the highlights of my presentation to my clients is about the importance of regular invesments. Ramai yang buat regular savings/investments dalam asb  or tabung haji and also into mutual funds. I applaud them for taking this smart move especially for the youngsters.

Tetapi ramai juga yang tak mampu nak buat regular investment even as low as RM100, sebab their cashflow is very tight. I can understand their situation dengan kos sara hidup yang makin meningkat masa kini.

A lot of people have the idea that, bila cari side income, that extra money is to use for paying their expenses. Sometimes secara tak sedar, kita menambah unnecessary expenses sebab kita rasa kita ada side income to pay for that. Tak salah kalau itulah tujuannya seseorang cari pendapatan lebih. Bayar expenses or hutang.

Lets say by becoming a Unit Trust Consultant, you earn RM 500 per month.  Well, u can use RM 200 to pay for your petrol, hutang etc but save the balance of RM 300 into a long term investment that gives about 10% return per annum. Apa lagi kalau bukan investment into mutual funds.

Lets say you are 27 years old this year, and you save RM 300 per month for the next 20 years. With the rate of 10% per annum, you can get RM 227,810 at the age of 47.  Best kan?

Start small, even as low as RM 100, you are making money in a long run. Daripada tak ada  savings lansung.   Check your cashflow now. A good financial planning must save at least 10% of your salary. Ada atau tidak?  Kalau tak, even 5% pun is a good start.

If dari gaji yang sedia ada tak dapat nak menyimpan untuk masa hadapan, then finding a side income for investment is an alternative.

Call me to find out more how becoming a Unit Trust Consultant can help you with your cashflow.  I am so looking forward to hearing from you.

Masa Fleksibel dan Tambah Pendapatan.

Assalamualaikum my dear readers,

As I have explained before, I enjoy the flexi time because I can spend time with my children. I boleh just cuti anytime I want, tak perlu nak tanya boss, apply leave dan sebagainya.

They all sell these to their clients and other Unit Trust Consultant too. Having the flexible time , they can plan well to enjoy other opportunities to have a better income.  Yang penting disiplin and maintain focusing on which is their core business.

Buat appointments in such way that they can have time to read the quran, banyak buat solat sunat, buat solat jemaah, dengar kuliah dhuha, ada masa unttuk masak for berbuka dan sahur. Yang kerja 9 to 5 pun ada yang buat all these. But I know how tiring it is. Dulu masa Noni kerja I have to buy lauk untuk berbuka sebab memang tak sempat balik nak masak. Dgn traffic  jam dan sebagainya.

It will be great kalau kita dapat buat ibadah dalam keadaan yang lebih selesa, tidak terlalu terkejar dgn masa.

So you see, becoming a Unit Trust Consultant is not a rigid career. There are other opportunities which we can use to our advantage like I mentioned above. Yang penting kita pandai mendisplinkan diri. Janganlah masa yang lebih tu kita tidur and tak buat apa-apa. Rugi besar tu.

As for me, I have other skills but not enough to pursue it deeply.  I focus on my business as a Unit Trust Consultant, making my clients happy with my services and good returns from their investments. I use this time to improve on  my ibadah too, insyaAllah.

My dear readers, if the story I told above is something that you want too, call me at 012-6923244 (noni). InsyaAllah, it will be a start to have a better ramadan in future.

Training Updates

Date: 10th June 2015
Topic :  Sharing by Nadirah Harith -  Top Performer.

Last week, we invited Nadirah Harith, a young successful unit trust consultant from another team. I first met  Nadirah on my trip to Budapest/Vienna, infact we were roomates. She is a very quiet, shy girl who hails from JB. She is only 27 years old started this business about 2 years ago, with zero knowledge and experience.  After graduating, she worked for a about 4 months in a company before she decided to quit because she said to me,.."tak tahan la kak Noni, nak kena kerja on weekends. Nad nak kerja where I can pakai cantik-cantik. Kerja kat situ tak boleh nak bergaya..".  This is what she shared with me when I asked her as to why she chose this career.

During the training, she has inspired other young consultants in our group to achieve higher income. Yes...she earns a 5 digit income and the age of 27. She bought a condo and on her way to buy herself her dream car.

I, myself are very amaze with this lady. She is very teachable and energetic. She is a shy girl but when comes to working she changes into someone else. When her leader throws any challenges to her, all she says is "yes I can do it:". No excuses. no buts. nothing and she will find  ways to meet the challenges.

My dear readers, if you have the desire to achieve your dreams, maybe this career can lead you the way. Nadirah has proven to me that being young and inexperience do not stop her for achieving great dreams.

Date : 17th June 2015
Topic : Power Calls by Mazlin Mohamad.

For this week training, we invited Mazlin from another team also, to share with us his experience with regards to making calls activity. Mazlin, is a senior unit trust consultant in this industry, a top performer, and he already has qualified  the company's challenge trip to New York.  I am very grateful for his sharing and can't wait to start cold callings aggressively.

Successful people have one trait. They don't keep their success stories to themselves. They are willing to share their experiences and tips so that other people can feel the glory of being at the top too.

Come and join me if you want to know more about this career. You will have all the support during training sessions. If others can do it..what is your excuse?

Find a date to see me, together we can map out your way to achieve your life goals.

Budapest-Bratislava-Vienna-Munich

Assalamualaikum my dear readers...

Of course la my trip to Europe recently. Ya Allah...best sangat2, especially kat Vienna. Its a great city with lots of history, old buildings, and beautiful scenery. Not forgetting pada mereka-mereka yang kaki shopping. We stopped at Pandorf Outlet before Vienna. They all ni shopping gila-gila, dgn bag shopping kiri kanan. Sampai Vienna city shopping lagi for Swarovski crystal la, LV la etc etc. Well, these unit trust consultants have worked really hard and they reward themselves with all these.

As for me, I bukan kaki shopping. I sat at a coffee house, sip my coffee, eat my apple strudel while enjoying the view infront of me. I watched the people, the streets, the building, taking in the hustle and bustle of Vienna city.

We also went to Salzburg to visit the places where the movie "The Sounds Of Music" was filmed. Salzburg is a beautiful town. Rasa cam nak retire terus kat sana.

We went back to KL via Munich, German. Just a few hours there visiting BMW HQ/outlet. Untuk BMW enthusiast, they enjoyed it tapi I am an Audi fan, so......duduk saja le cuci mata.

My tour group masa kat sana memang best and sporting, even the tour leader pun kelakar gila.  We had a great time , singing, joking, playing games in the bus and taking photos together like there is no tomorrow. Bila berada among the cream of the industry ni, you are indeed very lucky. These successful people tidak kedekut ilmu. They share their tips, experiences, and they motivate you to become better. Alhamdulilah for a great friendship.

Enjoy!!!

Coffee time with friends

There are so much to tell about this trip.  Rasa cam nak kena bukak a travelling blog pulak sebab I memamg suka travel.

So my dear readers, kalau you pun suka travel and enjoy shopping, come and join me in this business. It's a rewarding career and it is fun too. :) Call me at 012-6923244 (nor bayani@ noni).

Keeping up with the latest.

Salam..and hallo to everyone.

Its already the first quarter of 2015. Alhamdulillah I have qualified for the challenge trip and will be going to Vienna/Budapest this coming May 2015.

Tak sabar sangat rasanya. I have always love nature and scenic beauty, therefore this trip is one which I reallyyyyyy looking forward to. But before that, will have to work hard to maintain my sales momentum and kumpul duit nak shopping kat sana. Yeayyy.

Coming back to business.

I have to say last year was quite a challenge for me due to the ruling that changed with regards to EPF investment scheme. Somehow I managed to pull myself through and I have learned a good lesson.

Be prepared, be creative,   to take on any challenge and obstacles that come your way. Stop whining and start thinking of the solution, rather than focusing on the problems. Well, I am not ashamed to admit that,  yes, last year, my spirit was a bit dampen. Thus, the Vienna trip was achieved at the very last minute.

This year...in this glorious 2015 year...I am determine to be excellent.
