I have been a Unit Trust Consultant for 7 years now. Through out these years, I have met many, many people. My investors kebanyakannya baik-baik belaka. Alhamdulilah for that. Memang selalu I doa dapat client yang best-best. :)
One of the highlights of my presentation to my clients is about the importance of regular invesments. Ramai yang buat regular savings/investments dalam asb or tabung haji and also into mutual funds. I applaud them for taking this smart move especially for the youngsters.
Tetapi ramai juga yang tak mampu nak buat regular investment even as low as RM100, sebab their cashflow is very tight. I can understand their situation dengan kos sara hidup yang makin meningkat masa kini.
A lot of people have the idea that, bila cari side income, that extra money is to use for paying their expenses. Sometimes secara tak sedar, kita menambah unnecessary expenses sebab kita rasa kita ada side income to pay for that. Tak salah kalau itulah tujuannya seseorang cari pendapatan lebih. Bayar expenses or hutang.
Langkah yang paling bagus sebenarnya adalah menyimpan pendapatan sampingan kita. Lets say by becoming a Unit Trust Consultant, you earn RM 500 per month. Well, u can use RM 200 to pay for your petrol, hutang etc but save the balance of RM 300 into a long term investment that gives about 10% return per annum. Apa lagi kalau bukan investment into mutual funds.
Lets say you are 27 years old this year, and you save RM 300 per month for the next 20 years. With the rate of 10% per annum, you can get RM 227,810 at the age of 47. Best kan?
Start small, even as low as RM 100, you are making money in a long run. Daripada tak ada savings lansung. Check your cashflow now. A good financial planning must save at least 10% of your salary. Ada atau tidak? Kalau tak, even 5% pun is a good start.
If dari gaji yang sedia ada tak dapat nak menyimpan untuk masa hadapan, then finding a side income for investment is an alternative.
Call me to find out more how becoming a Unit Trust Consultant can help you with your cashflow. I am so looking forward to hearing from you.
