Salam dear readers,...
This week I have taken a few days off to spend the time with my lovely children. Tak de la gi mana sangat pun. We had fun chilling out at a river call Sungai Chilling at Kuala Kubu Bharu. Spent time with their cousins splashing at swimming pool, watching horror movies together and endless muching and eating.
At times bila dah lama sangat cuti tetiba rasa lemau nak start kerja balik. Or ada kalanya bila apa yang kita usahakan tidak memberi hasil yang kita harapkan, then kita rasa sangat down dan hilang semangat. At this point what we need is something to perk us up again.
Tipulah kalau saya kata saya tak pernah melalui saat-saat frust dan down especially masa awal-awal jadi Unit Trust Consultant. Kekadang menangis beria-ia. Tapi one thing about me, rasa down ni tak lama. paling lama sehari dua. Selalunya I will snap myself out from this pitiful state and motivate myself again.
So how does one motivate oneself? There are many ways actually.
1) Read books. Bukan buku cinta ye. Buku motivasi. In my blog ni, I have list down recommended readings in one of my page. Pada orang yang suka membaca, banyak sangat-sangat buku motivasi or self help berada di toko toko buku ( wah klasik tul bahasa ni). Be it in BM or English.
2) Talk to someone BUT...be careful to choose only positive minded people. Janganlah bercerita pada mereka yang tidak faham your needs to chase your dreams. There are people out there who is more willing to pull you down that to help you. Why? because they don't have the courage to pursue their dreams and they want you to fail to prove that they are making the right decision. Pleaseeeee stay away from people yang cam gini.
3) Google lah dalam internet and look for articles related to your problem. Listen to audio or watch you tube about successful people, about how to motivate yourself. At least dengar dlm 5 - 10 minit pun mampu jugak buat kita bersemangat balik.
4) If you have Goal board or vision board, look at them. Ingat balik kenapa kita buat decision to become Unit Trust Consultant. Apart from your goal board, there is your goal book. That is why, writing down goals is very important. Cuba kaji balik apa yang kita nak. Sebab masa kita pen down our goals tu, we were very excited betul tak? We visualised those dreams then with enthusiasm. So look at them back and feel the enthusiasm again.
For those yang belum jadi Unit Trust Consultant, cuba think where will you be 5 years from now. Write down one by one the things your heart desire. Even if you have doubts achievingthem, that is okay. All great people dream big dreams with no idea how to start. But the desire, somehow finds its path.
5) Semua pun mesti ada Facebook kannnnnnn? Cari la motivational page and click "like". Then everyday bila kita dok scroll FB kita, akan ada motivational quotes on our newsfeed. This is one thing yang i suka buat. Bila tengok quote-quote yang best, I saved them in my phone. Bila tengah down I akan tengok balik kata-kata semangat ni. Even make them my Iphone screen lock.
Bukan la saya letak dia last point maksudnya inilah last resort. NO.
So janganlah risau kalau kita rasa cam hilang semangat. The enthusiasm can be found again.

Planning
Salam dear readers..
How is your day today? I hope you have had a great day. Me? today is a quiet day for me. Normally Monday is the day where I plan for the week ahead. Settlekan documents, buat phone calls for the next 4 days punya appointments, etc.
I will write down all these on a worksheet so that boleh nampak la hari apa yang penuh, hari apa yang tak. I normally akan schedule my appointments based on location for example, kalau that day in KL, I will try to buat semua appointments in KL. This will save time and other costs like petrol. You won't waste your time traveling here and there and can see more people in one day. Based on this worksheet too, I will monitor whether I have achieve the target for the day and for the week.
I work well in morning. Therefore I must start working in the morning and the rest of the day will go smoothly. Kalau dah start tengahari, memang lemaulah jawabnya.
When we are our own boss, planning and monitoring are among the essentials. Because, no one is going to ask you about your sales. Kita kena ingatkan diri sendiri. Self discipline la senang cerita. If you dont have a proper planning and you dont monitor you will get lost along the way.
Today sebenarnya tak banyak idea nak menulis. So this is just a short one telling my readers how I plan my work. So put your plan into action and reap the rewards.

The Booth Activity at Amcop Mall
Assalamualaikum my dear readers. How is everyone's weekend?. Cuti sekolah dah start so sure riuh rendah rumah dengan suara anak-anak.
Last week was a pretty hectic week for me. We had a booth activities for 3 days from monday to wednesday at Amcorp Mall, PJ. Then thursday ada training at SS2 Mall and friday was the day for personal errands. Ambik anak I from an asrama in bentong.
The booth activity went well. Sangat penat I must say sebab dari pagi sampai petang, berdiri, approaching people, attending to people's question and so on. But we did have fun buat aktiviti ni bersama-sama. Jadi tempat information counter pun ye jugak. :)
These are some photos yang sempat I snapped during those 3 days.
Booth adalah salah satu aktiviti yang dijalankan untuk memperkenalkan diri kita as a Unit Trust Consultant kepada orang ramai. From here, we can get contacts we can call to make appointments later. Ada jugak instances where through the booth kita terus close deal dengan client. Best tau kalau cam tu.
For those newcomers, inilah masa kita nak train diri kita supaya buang rasa malu untuk tegur orang-orang disekeliling kita. This is the time we learn new things from questions people asked. And this is the time where we keep the bond among team members.
InsyaAllah I will keep updating future activities in this blog. In the meantime, if you are those who enjoy meeting people, eager for new challenge or if its a matter of curiosity, pls give me a call me at 012 6923244. Look forward to hearing from you.

Support System
Assalamualaikum my dear readers and team members.
Hari ni dah hari Jumaat. Sekejap betul masa berjalan. Semalam I attended a training provided by the Company. The topic is about leadership and Agency Management. This training spans over 4 weeks and it covers on essential areas with regards to group building.
Ilmu adalah sangat penting untuk di pelajari. For me to become a good leader and to lead a good team, I need to equip myself with the right knowledge. Thus the reading and the training. In Shaa Allah, ilmu-ilmu ini semua dapat dimanfaatkan for the growth and success of my team.
What I like about the Company I am representing is the support system that they provide. The trainings and the modules are very well planned. Right from the start of becoming a Unit Trust Consultant, you are required to attend certain compulsory trainings. You have to pay for the training though but takde la mahal. RM 10 or RM 20 for one day class. Tapi trust me, banyak benefit you will get from the class.
For every step of the promotion ladder, the Company has prepared specific topics for you to learn. Therefore you will not be at lost. Like I said in my earlier postings, this is a career. The Company takes it very seriously to train you to become a quality Unit Trust Consultant.
At times, there will be sharing by top Group Agency Managers nationwide. From here we can learn from the experiences of successful people. After all this is a copy cat business. We don't need to create a new path to find success. Just follow and apply what these top people do.
So come and join me in this exciting career. With hardwork and dedication, success can definitely be yours.

Bukan semua hari itu indah.
Salam Maal Hijrah buat pembaca yg beragama Islam. and I bid a good day too to all my non muslim readers.
Time flies very fast isn't it. Ni dah masuk tahun baru Islam 1435. 2 bulan lagi tahun baru Masehi 2014 pula akan muncul. As usual when comes to a dawn of a new year, people always dwell on resolutions. Have u achieved what u set early this year? I hope so. Kalau tak semua pun at least part of it. Well everyday is a new day right?
Tajuk posting hari ni cam tajuk drama kan? Dalam posting posting saya yang lepas, saya banyak menceritakan betapa BESTNYA jadi Unit Trust Consultant ni. Memang best. Saya tak tipu. Tetapi as with any other career, this too comes with challenges. Its not a bed of roses everyday my dear readers.
This is the first obstacle. Tetapi selalunya bila masuk exam kedua, you are more ready and knowing that u might fail will makes you work harder. Kenapa fail tu? sebab malas nak ulangkaji, malas nak buat soalan-soalan contoh and overconfident. Like i said earlier, Unit Trust Consultant is a career. Be fully prepared and fully ready like masa mula-mula interview kerja dulu. Jangan anggap ini satu perkara yang remeh sebabnya sayang duit RM 250 and nak resit exam kena bayar another RM 150.
2) Takde appointment. Sebabnya kurang leads atau orang-orang untuk dihubungi. Ini masalah common. Kenalah rajin and kreatif untuk carik leads.
3) Appointment kena cancel atau postpone. Ada kalanya bakal client kita ni busy. Susah sangat nak jumpa.
So ...apa nak buat? When you become my team mate saya akan beritahu.
5) Takde masa nak jumpa client sebab ada kerja permanent. Well this is a matter of time management. Perlulah cari masa during lunch time, after office hours atau during weekend.
6) Takut nak jumpa client sebab malu and tak confident.
7) Client banyak tanya and kita tak cukup knowledge and tak confident nak jawab.
These are the challenges yang sangat sinonim dengan dunia Unit Trust Consultants. I am being truthful about this because I dont want to just tell you all the good stuff. I let you be ready of what to expect from this business.
I am not saying that you akan berhadapan dengan semua masalah di atas. Ada kalanya Allah permudahkan rezeki kita and we get all things easy. But should you have to face all these then at least you are well prepared.
My dear teammates...I will teach and share with you on how to handle the challenges and objections like the above. After 5 years of being in this industry, I have faced all the above and trust me, it will make you a stronger, wiser and more determine person.
Ada kalanya kita perlu berhadapan dengan challenges sebegini sebabnya ia akan membuatkan kita lagi hargai kerjaya kita as a Unit Trust Consultants. Don't shy away because of these challenges. Its those people who emerge successfully from these challenges are the true winner. Insya Allah.
Come and join me in this rewarding career.

What does a Unit Trust Consultant do?
Assalamualaikum dear readers...
Before I proceed to explain, I am sorry if my blog ni bahasanya bahasa rojak. Sebabnya, I don't want to sound too serious and most times I tend to write what crosses my mind, word for word. Asalkan mesejnya dapat difahami, I believe this blog will serve its purpose..insyaAllah.
So apa sebenarnya yang Unit Trust Consultants jual?
Different people have different needs.
Some investors invest for retirement purpose, some investors for their children's education, some investors invest to gain some form of cash fund at certain age. Basically what Unit Trust Consultants do is guiding these investors to achieve their financial needs via investment in unit trusts fund. Helping them to choose the products that best fit their purpose.
There are people out there who are oblivious to the needs of savings for retirement. Ada jugak yang tak pernah tau about unit trust. So being a UTC, we make them aware the importance of savings, the inflation factor which is eating up the value of money, the various investment vehicles available in the market and so on.
Wah! cam complicatednya bunyi. Oppsss jangan exit this blog dulu. And I personally will coach those who need my help. If not me, my fellow UTCians are willing to share their knowledge too. Sharing is caring...kan.
Trust me you will find Unit Trust Consultants ni come from various background. Ada yang pernah jadi designer, ada yang PA to a boss, ada yang kerja prepare food for MAS flights etc. And these people yang i mentioned ni are successful Unit Trust Consultants. They don't have a financial background but they are willing to learn to succeed. Jadi kerjaya ni tak lah susah mana pun.
Besides helping investors in achieving their financial goals, Unit Trust Consultants juga perlu untuk service their clients by updating their investment status, letting them know when they have reached their desired return etc. Sounds difficult again? Nooooo lahhhhhhh... As long as you are willing to learn, takde apa pun yang susah.Nothing venture nothing gain.
Finally, adalah some minor services yang kita buat untuk our investors as and when. I will explain this in further details when you see me, insyaAllah.
PS :Forgive me for my grammatical mistakes here and there. Editor's brain not working at times. :)

The Non Monetary Value
Salam Dear Readers...
So far when we talk and discuss about career or business the main factor will always be the $$$$$$ factor. Right? When we started our first job, how much is being paid is the top of the questions' list. When we venture into business or sales line, its always about how to increase income, how to change lifestyles etc. Yes its true, money is the motivation, the pushing factor for almost everything. We worked hard for money.

Little do we realise that along the way to achieve the goals that we set, we have trained ourselves to become a better person. How?
A good salesperson will have all the good qualities.
After 4 years in this industry, I have learned to be patient, persistent and focus . I have learned to handle objections calmly, to well manage my time, to have a better discipline.
I didn't have much confidence in public speaking then. But now I do. I didn't know that I can give training to a group of people. But now I can.
I open my mind to lots more knowledge via books and trainings. And now I am writing a blog thus empowering my writing skills. I do hope you like what you read. :)
So you see, its not just about the unlimited income that we are after but the fact that we are adding this non-monetary values to our lives too. These new qualities that we find in us can be applied not just in this career but in other areas in our lives for example in our relationship.
I am not saying that you don't have all these good qualities with you now. But who knows, with a change in a career or leaving a comfort zone, you will discover something new about you. Or even enhance the ones you already have.

So think about it, you might discover one thing more that you love about yourself.

Who wants to travel for free?
Assalamualaikum my dear readers...
Semoga hari ni urusan anda semuanya berjalan lancar dan segalanya dipermudahkan Allah.
I just love traveling. Right from the moment I plan the traveling time and itinerary, to the packing, to the journey and everything else till the end, traveling always excites me. Siapa yang suka travel mesti share the same excitement as I do. Some people suka travel sebab suka shopping. I am a nature person so kalau I travel I suka lihat keindahan alam and learn the culture and custom of that country. Plus, I love trying foreign foods too.
How do you feel if you can travel for free? Awesome isn't it? Bukan pergi negara orang untuk bekerja ya, tapi really melancong for free. Everything is being paid for cuma bawak duit shopping aje.
Bila I joined this career as a full time agent in 2009, I qualified for Korea trip. So in 2010, I traveled to Korea, a country yang I takkan terfikir nak keluar duit poket sendiri to go to. It was a memorable trip. Best gila!
Then in 2010, I qualified to Beijing but I chose to go to Phuket instead. I sold my ticket, got some extra cash and went to Phuket. Love the beach and the food in Thailand. Makan memang sedap. Tak perlu nak risau sebab the company akan pastikan semuanya halal untuk orang islam.
In 2011, I qualified to LA. That's Los Angeles for real bukan Lebuh Ampang yea. Off I went to LA n Las Vegas in 2012. The most memorable time was my visit to Grand Canyon. I kan suka nature. Naik helicopter, went down to the Grand Canyon and had a short boat trip along Colorado River.
Last year's sales qualified me for an Amsterdam trip this year. But due to personal reasons I didnt go. But kalau kita tak pergi, we can sell the ticket and get cash for it.
This year, Alhamdulilah, I have qualified for Turkey trip. I will go next year InsyaAllah. Can't hardly wait.
You can also travel for free you know. Not only that, you will also be given shopping money. Macam mana nak dapat semua ni? Well I will tell you when you contact me.
So untuk mereka yang nak merasa a career yang sangat awesome and brilliant ni, call me for a free consultation. Spend about an hour of your time and who knows this might be the career you are looking for.
Have a good day. Salam.

The advantages of flexi time.
Assalamualaikum dan Selamat Hari Raya Aidil Adha.
One of the things yang paling best about being a freelance agent is the flexibility of time. Baru-baru ni my daughter kena chicken pox. The instict of a mother is to stay at home and look after her, but memandangkan she is not having a high fever, I still buat appointments. But my appointments semua settle by 3 or 4 o'clock, so i ada masa nak check on her after that. Alhamdulilah she is getting better now.
There was one time my son had a viral fever. Masa tu memang I tak buat any appointments sebab nak looked after him. Of course la ada la jugak rasa risau nak mengejar target sales for the month tapi i believe akan rezeki dari Allah. After my son dah baik, i really focused on my sales and Alhamdulilah semuanya dipermudahkan.
So salah satu perkara yang buat I appreciate my work is the flexibility of my time. Sebabnya, kalau kita terlalu mengenjoy the flexi time, we will lose focus, thus will lose everything else.
So to my readers, sit and think, best tak jadi unit trust consultant yang tak perlu mintak signature boss nak cuti, cari orang nak ganti kerja bila nak cuti, gets all the glaring looks from co worker and bosses when you have to take sick leave or emergency leave...etc ..etc..etc.
Come and join me. Call me at 012 6923244 or email me bayaniab@gmail.com. for further info.

Part Time atau Full Time
Reason being, at least if things don't work out they still have their fixed-income earning job to rely on.
Sebenarnya nak jadi UTC secara part time or full time ni, is quite subjektif. Dia bergantung kepada the mindset of individu. Lets just asses these two situations.
Part Time UTC
Advantages
1) Yes, they still have their current job as a support.
2) Commission from this business is an added income of which they can use for savings and other extra things.
3) UTC mungkin tidak berasa terlalu pressure nak cukupkan sales every month.
Disadvantages
1) They can't attend weekly training freely sebab bekerja. Thus they might miss out banyak information and knowledge.
2) They are surrounded by non-sales people, who may pull them down from achieving their goals and dreams.
3) They might feel complacent with what they have and one day mungkin jadi malas untuk meneruskan kerjaya dalam bidang ini.
4) UTC juga perlu bekerja di luar waktu bekerja like on weekends, lunch time or after office hours.
Full Time.
Advantages
1) UTC can maximize their time and focus solely on this career.
2) Can attend the weekly training done by the agency and trainings provided by the Company.
Koreklah ilmu from them. Mingling with the right crowd, the positive minded people especially memang sangat penting dalam industri ni.
4) Bila dah berjaya qualify for free trips, pegilah dengan senang hati. Tak perlu fikir nak amik cuti, sapa nak relieve kerja dsb.
5) Bila dah jadi full time UTC, boleh plan your schedule well. Agak2 bila dah reach your sales target boleh lah rileks sikit barang sehari dua. Amik 'cuti', gi spa ke, shopping ke.
6) Your work ends at the end of the day. Balik rumah, you don't have to worry about month end report tak siap lagi what not.
7) You are your own boss. You determine your own income. Nak increment tiap-tiap bulan pun boleh. Increase je lah sales every month. No one determines your performance but you.
8) Ini lah masanya nak bergaya sakan, especially to the ladies. When you are in sales line, you can wear as outstanding as u wish.
Disadvantages
Hmmmmm....Nil. Can't think of any. (hehehehhehe)
In summary , I would encourage my downlines to do this business as a full time consultant. Tapi kalau perlu untuk kerja as a part timer, by all means go ahead. Yang penting is your mindset. Ramai juga part timers yang berjaya but the effort they put in maybe double of what full timers do.
So come and join me. Marilah kita sama-sama berjaya, helping one another to achieve our dreams.

Take The Plunge!
No..I am not asking you to jump from any building.
Often, when I approach potential prospect for recruitment, I have this one common response. " I takutlah tak boleh buat. I tak pandai convince orang". I didn't have that thought when I decided to join unit trust business.Maybe because I was the one who approached my upline (Rohani Abd Aziz) and queried her about her business. I tried my hands on other business too. I joined MLM, I became a tupperware dealer, even jual kain to my collegue in my department.
But none of these businesses last for long. Mainly because there was no support, no proper business plan, no target, nothing. When I signed up to become unit trust consultant, my idea was to become a part timer. But when I see the potential I took the plunge. I resigned. Then there was no turning back.
Some may say, I was from a banking or accounting background, and it was easy for me to present to clients. No, that was not the case. Thruout the years in the bank, kerja I mengadap computer. So I did not have any experience presenting anything to anyone. True enough, the knowledge I gained does help me in some ways. But I still learned from scratch. How to present, what to say, how to call prospects, etc, etc.
Of course the first few months you might fumble, you may look silly when you present but these are all learning process. You may not close every deal but take it as an on-job-training. The more you meet people and present, the more you will learn. And if you fail to close a sale, learn from that experience and improve. That is what I do, even until now.
Anyone can do this. This is one lucrative business where the capital is minimal. The most important thing is, be a teachable downline. Datang training conducted by the Agency and by the Company. Join any field work, read and learn from the successful people. Senang kan?
When we first start working, we started with zero knowledge. Its the same everywhere and on any job. So why not learn to do something new. It doesn't matter if you don't know anything now, you will learn somehow just like your current job. As long as you WANT to learn.
So come and join me!. Have a dream, a big one and you can achieve it, if you give yourself a chance.
